Whether you want to lose weight, gain muscle or increase your endurance, it's important to tailor your workout to fit your goals. That seems obvious, but almost everyone who starts working out eventually finds their enthusiasm waning as their goals get further and further away.
UNSW Sport and Recreation is excited to be offering a wholistic course designed to equip you with the knowledge and practical tools that you need to lose and manage your weight. You will learn lifestyle changes, focusing on diet and exercise behaviours, in order to ACHIEVE your healh and fitness GOALS.
You will learn how to monitor your own progress, and how to plan to ensure you continue to see results in the future. You won’t get any secret tricks or shortcuts, just a logical scientific approach to achieving sustainable weight loss.
The small group means that you will be given individual attention and all classes are run in a private training studio. The course includes two health assessments (when you begin and finish), a nutrition workshop, and two training sessions per week with a university trained Exercise Physiologist PLUS a two month Bronze Gym Membership.
Weight Management Course starts May 2
