SPORTS CLUBS -
UNSW offers over 30 clubs that you can join. UNSW sports clubs play in metropolitan, state and national competitions and cater for beginners through to elite.

Some of the clubs also run social sport competitions - football, netball, volleyball, basketball, hockey, touch and ultimate frisbee. See their individual website for more details.

SPORTS SCHOLARSHIPS AND ELITE ATHLETE SUPPORT - Each year, UNSW Sport and Recreation offers sports scholarships to UNSW students. Valued at up to $5,000 each, applications close in December each year.

SOCIAL SPORT -
Social Sport - Why not enter a team in the fun social sport program? Anyone can put together a team and compete against other students and staff. Competitions run during each semester and include indoor and outdoor soccer, basketball and touch football.

AUSTRALIAN UNIVERSITY SPORT (AUS) -
UNSW students have the opportunity to represent UNSW at Australian University Sport events, and can also be selected to represent Australia in international competition.

UNSW SPORTS HALL OF FAME & HONOUR ROLL -
The UNSW Sports Hall of Fame was created in 2003 to mark the 50th anniversary of the UNSW Sports Association and to recognize the outstanding sporting achievements of UNSW sporting alumni. 13 sportspeople were originally inducted and four more have been added since 2009. We also have past Olympians and Paraolympians, Commonwealth Games participants and world champions.
